Hi My name is Melanie and I started Zahriel based on my love and my friends and family's love of scrunchies in 2022. I have a little team who help me create these beautiful scrunchies including my son Cooper who has taken on sewing duties.

How did we come up with the name Zahriel......

When my husband and I first started dating we had a name we wanted to call our future daughter. However we have 3 amazing boys instead, however the name stayed with us.... you know just in case. Her name was to be Zahra, a name we both still cherish.

I am a massive Disney fan and hope to one day visit Disneyland. I have Mickey Mouse all over my house and Disney puzzles that line the walls. My favourite Disney princess is Ariel and I have died my hair a few times to match her beautiful red hair.

Combing two of my favourite names Zahra and Ariel we came up with Zahriel.
